How I got interested in ants.

When I was young, I got for my birthday an Uncle Milton's ant farm. I was thrilled. I've always found them fascinating. Fast forward to 1996, and I started drawing a cartoon strip called "SmallWorld". This was briefly before the ant movies came out. The fun thing that happened is that I was able to convince the local paper to carry my cartoons. Sadly, the paper folded a few months later (no fault of mine). Still, it was published for several months. I grew up wanting to be a cartoonist, so that was a bucket-list item for me. Recently, after buying my iPad and starting to draw again, I began drawing my ant characters again. I have to share this work, so I'm putting the illustrations on all kinds of products.
